Aequivalent is happy to announce its decision to join the Swiss Association for Standardisation (SNV) as a technical partner, by expressing their shared commitment to provide standards for employment screening in Switzerland.

Upon request of the FSP (Federation of Swiss Psychologists), the SNV has initiated a national standardisation (INB) project with Aequivalent as one of its technical experts for this project.

The aim of this common project is to establish a Swiss Standard (SN) which meets and reflects national conditions and to create a service standard for the professional implementation of the aptitude diagnostic procedure. This will provide transparency and quality in the practice of job-related aptitude testing.

Founded in 1919, the SNV operates as a bridge between standardisation experts and the users of the standards and develops guidelines of long-term benefit to the Swiss economy, research, education, as well as a variety of other areas.

Through the creation of these standards, the non-profit association aims to build opportunities that facilitate not only the access to markets and technologies, but also to provide greater security for society, producers, and consumers.

The Aequivalent platform is already a standard reference for Swiss employers that need to make sure that they hire managers and employees with the right integrity, reputation, and qualifications. The company publishes integrity statistics every year, providing an important barometer and benchmark to Swiss employers. The company and platform itself apply the highest standards in terms of data protection / information security and have been certified according to ISO 27001 standards.

During 2021 and early 2022, the SNV and Aequivalent will conduct interviews with potential stakeholders from government agencies, NGOs, NPOs, industry, and commerce, as well as a nationwide survey to collect empirical data that will help develop the standard.
